Typically, your kitchen will be ready for delivery within 4 weeks from final design sign-off. When we have arranged a delivery date then the installation can be booked in. This will depend on the fitter’s availability (they can get busy during the summer!).

Installing a kitchen usually takes about 2 weeks. However, this is for a kitchen-only installation. If there is any additional prep work that is required (e.g. removing the existing kitchen, electrics, plastering, plumbing, or flooring) it can add at least one extra week to the start of the installation.

You should be able to get a more exact timeline for your project by talking to us, the fitters, and any builders that you have on this project. If you have specific dates in mind then talk to your designer and we will help to plan a schedule that works for you.

We can, if that’s what you need! We can organise and coordinate every part of your new kitchen project from design to installation. This can include finding tradespeople who can arrange the removal of your old kitchen, electrics, plumbing, and installation. At Tailored Kitchens we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to make sure that your project runs smoothly.

Yes! We prefer to work with our trusted and experienced fitting teams, but we can design a kitchen for you on a supply-only basis.
We recommend that your chosen installer has experience fitting bespoke kitchens to ensure that you get the best possible finish. Tailored Kitchens cannot offer refunds on kitchens that have been damaged on installation if our clients have asked for a ‘supply only’ contract.

There will be some noise and disruption while the fitters are working, but we always keep this to a minimum. We protect work areas and tidy up at the end of each day so that you can keep on living your life normally.

If you’re working from home, we can let you know about any noisy periods or temporary interruptions to water or power so you can plan accordingly.

There will most likely be a short period where your kitchen is out of use. Many of our clients set up a temporary space with essentials like a kettle, microwave and fridge somewhere else in the house. Our fitters will do their best to make sure you’re only without a kitchen for a small amount of time.

Our team works hard to make sure that your new kitchen project goes smoothly. If any issues do arise at any point in the process, we work to get your project back on track as soon as possible. We will arrange any necessary replacement parts as soon as we can. In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, we will provide suitable alternative options that still fit in with your original design.
